Content
Our goal is to provide readers with a diverse selection of positive articles on 1949 to 1954 car project (wagons too!), events, and how-to articles.  The scope of what you can write about is vast. After you click around the site, however, you should get a good feel for what we’re looking to showcase. If you’re still unsure, you can submit one article and wait for our feedback before submitting more. You can always e-mail us if you have questions.

Mechanics
Since most of our content is not coming from professional journalists or builders/fabricators, we understand that there will be some typos here and run-ons there. We just ask that you proofread your article for mechanical errors twice before submitting it, and above all make sure the subject matter stays on track and makes sense to readers. We want visitors to enjoy our site’s content and the subjects in articles to be proud of what’s written about them, so it’s important that the content is not ridden with mechanical errors. Our editors will take care of minimal errors without changing your message, but if we feel your article will be altered too much with our editing we will let you know so you can revise it and re-submit it if you wish. If you are wondering about the correct use of punctuation, capitalization, or have grammar questions, you can pick up an AP Stylebook from your local bookstore, or you can visit http://www.bu.edu/com/writingprgm/ap_styleguide1.pdf for some great quick AP tips.

Style
Be yourself. It’s important that your message is clear and conversational so everyone else reading can easily understand where you’re coming from. Our aim is not to be a mainstream media source, so don’t feel like you have to use pretentious language or a traditional journalistic style when writing. This is the place for you to express what you’re passionate about, so don’t hold back, and just speak from the heart.

After you submit
We do our best to publish articles as frequently as possible, but there may be a slight delay in getting your article on the site due to our high volume of submissions. In most cases, you’ll hear back from us within two weeks of submitting an article.
